Ring selection depends on the character's current color. Passing a color gate changes that condition, so a line of rings that was useful moments ago may become harmful. Recheck the color after every gate before steering toward the next cluster.

Change your collection rule at every color gate
To begin your run in Long Neck Runner, your character will start moving forward automatically. Your main job is to steer left and right to pick up rings that match your character's body color. Each collected ring adds a segment to your neck, making you taller and more powerful. Be very careful to avoid rings of different colors and various obstacles like pillars or gaps, as they will significantly reduce your height. Throughout the level, you may pass through "Color Gates" which will change your character's color—you must immediately adapt and start collecting the new matching color.
To master the game, aim for a "Perfect" run by collecting every matching ring to maximize your multiplier. At the end, use your massive height to pass through as many reward gates as possible to climb the global leaderboards!

Check the new body color immediately after passing a color gate. Avoid an obstacle even when matching rings are placed close to it.
Continuing to collect the old color after a gate reduces the height you built. A long ring trail is not useful if it ends at an obstacle.
