Parkour Race: make the route quick as well as clear
Parkour Race makes the time to finish the measure of success. Read the obstacle layout and use the runner's movement control to keep a clear route through it.
Controls
Use the left mouse button or touch input to control the runner's movement.
Make the route quick as well as clear
Move the runner with the mouse or touch input and avoid the obstacles between the start and finish. The winning measure is time, so a route with repeated corrections can lose ground even when it avoids a direct collision.
Try to leave each obstacle in a position that gives you a clear approach to the following one. That turns route choice into part of the race: the nearest open patch is not always the best place to head if it leaves you facing another obstruction immediately afterward.
Complete the course in the fastest time
Choose a route around the next obstacle before reaching it. Aim for a continuous clear path rather than a late correction at every obstruction.
Watching only the runner's current position leaves little time to react to the next obstacle.
Make the exit part of the shortcut
Before directing the runner through a small opening, look at where it leaves the character. A short route that demands an immediate reversal can lose its apparent time advantage. Try to connect several clear spaces into a continuous line toward the finish.
Use a slower attempt to identify the obstruction that costs the most time, then improve that part of the route. Faster pointer movement does not by itself produce a faster finish if it also adds unnecessary corrections.
