Steer the board toward an open finish route
The supplied controls focus on moving the skater left and right. Use that sideways movement to pass the obstacles and reach the finish, rather than expecting a separate trick button to solve a blocked route.
Choose an opening before the board arrives beside the obstacle. A smaller correction early can leave more room for the next hazard than crossing the whole path at the last moment. Keep your attention on where the board will travel after the dodge, not just on clearing the nearest object.
Avoid the obstacles and reach the finish line
Pick an open side before an obstacle fills the route ahead. Keep the next obstruction in view while returning from a dodge.
Immediately reversing after a dodge can send the skateboarder back toward the obstruction.
Judge the route from the board's position
Watch the skateboard's actual path, not only the character animation above it. Identify where the board must pass the obstruction and make the sideways correction while there is still room. A visually clear area is only helpful if the board can reach it before the obstacle.
After a miss, decide whether you chose the wrong opening or began the move too late. Correcting that one decision makes a retry useful without inventing a trick or jump control that this version does not document.
